About Shrieking Affliction
Shrieking Affliction, Enchantment, designed by Johann Bodin first released in Oct, 2012 in the set Return to Ravnica. It see play in 1 formats: Commander.
A deck that focuses on disrupting the opponent's hand size or card draw, such as a discard-heavy black deck or a control deck looking to deplete the opponent's resources, would benefit from including Shrieking Affliction. While it can be a strong card in the right deck, there are potentially better options like The Rack, which deals damage based on the number of cards in the opponent's hand, providing more consistent damage output. However, Shrieking Affliction can still be a valuable inclusion in decks looking to apply pressure on the opponent's hand size and life total simultaneously.
Rules
