About Serra Angel
Serra Angel, Creature — angel, designed by Douglas Shuler first released in Aug, 1993 in the set Limited Edition Alpha and was printed exactly in 67 different ways.
A deck that focuses on midrange strategies or controlling the board would benefit from including Serra Angel in its lineup, as the card offers a strong flying threat with vigilance that can apply pressure while also being able to defend against opposing creatures. However, in the current Magic: the Gathering metagame, there are more efficient and powerful options available for similar mana costs, such as Baneslayer Angel or Lyra Dawnbringer, which offer additional abilities or better stats. As a result, Serra Angel may not see as much play in competitive decks, but can still be a fun and nostalgic inclusion in casual or budget builds.
