This card, Patagia Viper, would be beneficial in a deck that focuses on ramping up mana quickly to ensure the {U} cost can be met consistently. Decks that utilize green and blue mana sources and have ways to generate additional mana would find this card useful for its flying ability and token generation upon entering the battlefield. However, in competitive Magic: the Gathering play, there are likely better options available that offer more impactful abilities or synergies for the same mana cost, such as Coiling Oracle or Ice-Fang Coatl, making Patagia Viper less likely to see play in top-tier decks.
