About Overwhelmed Apprentice
Overwhelmed Apprentice, Creature — human wizard, designed by Jason Rainville first released in Sep, 2019 in the set Throne of Eldraine and was printed exactly in 2 different ways. It's a key card in 2 combos.
This card, Overwhelmed Apprentice, would be beneficial in a mill deck strategy in Magic: the Gathering, where the goal is to force opponents to draw cards from their library until they run out, losing the game by being unable to draw. While it provides a small mill effect and allows you to scry 2, there are more powerful mill cards like Hedron Crab or Glimpse the Unthinkable that are more efficient at achieving the mill win condition. However, Overwhelmed Apprentice could still see play in a mill deck as a budget option or to provide additional card selection.
Rules
