Mandroid Squadron would fit best in a budget white-based aggro or midrange deck that wants incidental life gain, or in an artifact-synergy deck (such as one using cards that care about artifacts entering or being on the battlefield), but even there it’s fairly low impact unless it has strong stats for its cost (which would matter a lot). If it’s simply a 2-mana creature that gains 2 life on entry, it’s generally underpowered for competitive play, as cards like **Lone Missionary** (which gains 4 life), **Spirited Companion** (draws a card), **Thraben Inspector** (creates a Clue for card advantage), or **Charming Prince** (offers multiple flexible effects including life gain) provide more value for similar or slightly higher cost.
