About Konda's Hatamoto
Konda's Hatamoto, Creature — human samurai, designed by Lars Grant-West first released in May, 2020 in the set Champions of Kamigawa.
A deck focused on legendary Samurai creatures would benefit from including Konda's Hatamoto due to its synergistic ability to gain a power and toughness boost as well as vigilance when a legendary Samurai is controlled. However, there may be better options for a deck looking to maximize efficiency and power, such as Samurai of the Pale Curtain or Samurai of the Steel Legion, which offer more impactful abilities or stats for their cost. Konda's Hatamoto could see play in a casual Samurai tribal deck for thematic reasons, but may not be optimal for competitive play.
