Flame Sweep, Instant, designed by Viktor Titov first released in Jul, 2019 in the set Core Set 2020 Promos and was printed exactly in 3 different ways.
Flame Sweep would be beneficial in a deck that focuses on controlling the board by clearing out small creatures while protecting your own flying creatures. It could work well in a red-blue control deck that utilizes flyers as win conditions. However, there are potentially better options like Anger of the Gods, which exiles creatures and prevents graveyard recursion, or Sweltering Suns, which cycles for a card if the board state doesn't require a board wipe. Flame Sweep could see play in specific metagames where the 2 damage is relevant against the opposing threats.

The only creatures that avoid Flame Sweep’s damage are those you control with flying. The set of creatures dealt damage includes creatures you don’t control with flying and creatures you control without flying.
