This card, Ecological Appreciation, would be beneficial in a deck that focuses on creature-based strategies and has a variety of creatures with different names and mana values. Decks that rely on toolbox strategies or have a wide range of creatures to choose from could find value in this card. However, in competitive Magic: the Gathering play, there may be better options available such as Collected Company, which provides a similar effect but at instant speed and without the drawback of having to exile itself. Overall, Ecological Appreciation could see play in certain creature-heavy decks, but its effectiveness may be limited compared to other options.
