The Crimson Mage card would be beneficial in a red aggressive deck that aims to quickly deal damage to the opponent. While it provides the ability to give haste to a creature, there are better options available such as Goblin Guide or Monastery Swiftspear which offer more consistent and impactful effects. Crimson Mage may not see play in competitive decks due to its limited impact compared to other options available.
