About Convincing Mirage
Convincing Mirage, Enchantment — aura, designed by Ryan Pancoast first released in Jul, 2009 in the set Magic 2010.
This card would be beneficial in a deck that relies on land types for specific effects, such as tribal decks that require specific land types to activate abilities or spells. However, in competitive play, Convincing Mirage may not be the most efficient choice compared to other cards that provide similar effects at a lower cost or with additional benefits, such as Blood Moon or Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth.
Rules
10/01/09
The affected land loses its existing land types and any abilities printed on it. It becomes the chosen basic land type and now has the ability to tap to add one mana of the appropriate color to your mana pool. Convincing Mirage’s ability doesn’t change the affected land’s name or whether it’s legendary or basic.
