About Baron Sengir
Baron Sengir, Legendary creature — vampire noble, designed by Pete Venters first released in Oct, 1995 in the set Homelands and was printed exactly in 4 different ways.
A deck focused on vampire tribal synergy would benefit from including Baron Sengir, as it can grow in power with each creature it defeats and has the ability to regenerate other vampires. However, in terms of competitive play, there are more efficient and powerful cards available for similar mana costs, such as Kalitas, Traitor of Ghet or Olivia Voldaren, which may be better choices in most situations. Baron Sengir may not see much play in highly competitive Magic: The Gathering decks due to its high mana cost and the availability of stronger alternatives.
Rules
10/04/04
The Baron’s ability will only regenerate creatures with type “Vampire,” regardless of whether the creature has “Vampire” in its name.
