Backwoods Survivalists would be a great addition to a graveyard-focused deck in Magic: the Gathering, particularly one that aims to have a variety of card types in the graveyard to trigger its Delirium ability. However, there are potentially better cards like Tarmogoyf that offer a similar effect with potentially higher power and toughness for the same mana cost, making Backwoods Survivalists less likely to see play in competitive decks.
