About Ashen Ghoul
Ashen Ghoul, Creature — zombie, designed by Ron Spencer first released in Jun, 1995 in the set Ice Age and was printed exactly in 3 different ways.
Ashen Ghoul would fit well in a graveyard-centric deck, particularly one that utilizes synergies with creature cards in the graveyard, such as a reanimator or sacrifice theme, where you can control the number of creatures above it for its return ability. While it can be effective, there are arguably better options like **Gravecrawler**, which has a similar return ability but can be played from the graveyard as long as you have another zombie on the battlefield, making it more versatile. Overall, Ashen Ghoul could see play in niche builds but might be outclassed by more efficient cards in competitive environments.

Say you’re the owner of both a permanent and an Aura that’s attached to it. If both the permanent and the Aura are destroyed at the same time (by Akroma’s Vengeance, for example), you decide the order they’re put into your graveyard. If just the enchanted permanent is destroyed, it’s put into your graveyard first. Then, after state-based actions are checked, the Aura (which is no longer attached to anything) is put into your graveyard on top of it.
