About Armadillo Cloak
Armadillo Cloak, Enchantment — aura, designed by Paolo Parente first released in May, 2020 in the set Invasion and was printed exactly in 9 different ways. It see play in 1 formats: Pauper.
This Armadillo Cloak card would be beneficial in a green-white aggro deck that focuses on buffing up creatures and gaining life through combat. While Armadillo Cloak provides a decent boost and life gain, a potentially better card to consider would be Rancor, as it provides a similar power boost with trample and the ability to return to your hand if the enchanted creature dies. However, Armadillo Cloak could still see play in certain situations where the life gain is crucial for survival or synergy with other cards in the deck.

While Armadillo Cloak’s last ability is similar to lifelink, it isn’t lifelink—it’s a normal triggered ability. If a creature you control with lifelink wears an Armadillo Cloak and deals damage, first you’ll gain that much life for lifelink, and then Armadillo Cloak’s triggered ability is put onto the stack. This also means that multiple instances of Armadillo Cloak’s triggered ability do trigger separately.
