Simic Sky Swallower would be a great addition to a Simic ramp or control deck, benefiting from its evasion with flying and trample, as well as its protection with shroud. While it is a strong card on its own, other options like Wurmcoil Engine or Terastodon could provide more immediate impact or utility in certain situations, but Simic Sky Swallower could still see play in decks looking for a resilient finisher that is hard to deal with.
