This card, Mountain Valley, would benefit a deck that relies on quickly ramping up its mana base and fixing its colors. Decks that need access to both red and green mana would find this card useful for fetching either a Mountain or Forest. However, there are better cards like Fabled Passage or Wooded Foothills that can fetch specific basic land types untapped, making them more efficient choices for most decks.
