About High Alert
High Alert, Enchantment, designed by Daarken first released in Jan, 2019 in the set Ravnica Allegiance and was printed exactly in 2 different ways. It see play in 1 formats: Commander. It's a key card in 10 combos.
A deck focused on high-toughness creatures, such as a Defender or control deck, would benefit from using High Alert as it allows for powerful combat strategies and untapping capabilities. While there may be better cards for specific strategies, High Alert can be a strong inclusion in decks that rely on toughness rather than power for combat. Its unique abilities make it a valuable card to consider for certain playstyles and could see play in the right deck.
Rules
01/25/19
High Alert’s first ability doesn’t actually change any creature’s power. It changes only the amount of combat damage it assigns. All other rules and effects that check power or toughness use the real values. For example, Titanic Brawl won’t cause a creature to fight with its toughness under High Alert.
