This card would be a great addition to a black-based Ally tribal deck in Magic: the Gathering, as it synergizes well with other Ally creatures that can quickly build up in numbers. While Hagra Diabolist is a solid choice for its ability to drain an opponent's life, there are potentially better options like Drana, Liberator of Malakir, which provides a more immediate impact with its ability to pump up your team. However, Hagra Diabolist can still be a valuable inclusion in the deck for its incremental life loss potential, especially in a more grindy or control-oriented strategy.
