About Echo of Eons
Echo of Eons, Sorcery, designed by Terese Nielsen first released in May, 2019 in the set Modern Horizons and was printed exactly in 4 different ways.
Echo of Eons would benefit a deck that focuses on graveyard recursion and card draw, such as a control or combo deck. While it can provide a fresh hand of cards and disrupt opponents' strategies, there are better options like Time Spiral or Time Reversal that offer similar effects with additional benefits. Echo of Eons could see play in specific strategies that rely on graveyard manipulation, but overall, it may not be the optimal choice compared to other options available.
Rules
03/19/21
A spell cast using flashback will always be exiled afterward, whether it resolves, is countered, or leaves the stack in some other way.
03/19/21
If a card with flashback is put into your graveyard during your turn, you can cast it if it’s legal to do so before any other player can take any actions.
03/19/21
You must still follow any timing restrictions and permissions, including those based on the card’s type. For instance, you can cast a sorcery using flashback only when you could normally cast a sorcery.
06/14/19
Echo of Eons won’t be put into your graveyard until after it’s finished resolving, which means it won’t be shuffled into your library as part of its own effect.
