Cao Ren, Wei Commander would be a good fit for a black-based aggressive deck looking to close out the game quickly with its horsemanship ability, bypassing most blockers. However, the drawback of losing 3 life upon entering the battlefield may be a significant downside in certain matchups. There are potentially better options for a similar mana cost that offer more immediate impact or better abilities, such as Grave Titan or Kalitas, Traitor of Ghet, which could provide more value and board presence. Overall, while Cao Ren could see situational play in specific deck archetypes, there are likely more versatile and powerful options available.
