About Wrap in Flames
Wrap in Flames, Sorcery, designed by Véronique Meignaud first released in Apr, 2010 in the set Rise of the Eldrazi and was printed exactly in 5 different ways.
A deck that focuses on aggressive strategies and wants to clear the way for attacking creatures would benefit from using Wrap in Flames. However, there are better options like Anger of the Gods or Sweltering Suns that provide more value and flexibility in dealing with multiple creatures. Wrap in Flames could see play in specific metagames where its restrictions on blocking are particularly useful, but overall, it may not be a top choice for competitive decks.
Rules
01/24/20
The “can’t block” effect applies to each of the targeted creatures—and to only those creatures—even if Wrap in Flames deals no damage to one or more of them (due to a prevention effect, for example) or if Wrap in Flames deals damage to a different creature (due to a redirection effect).
