About Ward Sliver
Ward Sliver, Creature — sliver, designed by Pete Venters first released in May, 2020 in the set Legions and was printed exactly in 3 different ways.
A deck built around a Sliver tribal theme in Magic: the Gathering would greatly benefit from using Ward Sliver as it provides protection to all Slivers from a chosen color, which can be strategically advantageous in certain matchups. However, there are more efficient options available such as Crystalline Sliver, which provides Shroud to all Slivers to protect them from targeted removal spells, making it a more popular and impactful choice in competitive Sliver decks. While Ward Sliver may have niche uses in specific metagames or casual settings, it is not a card that sees widespread play in competitive Sliver decks.
Rules
07/01/13
Abilities that Slivers grant, as well as power/toughness boosts, are cumulative. However, for some abilities, like flying, having more than one instance of the ability doesn’t provide any additional benefit.
