While Usher of the Fallen provides a way to generate additional creatures to swarm the opponent, there are potentially better options like Luminarch Aspirant, which can grow in power over time and has a more impactful ability. However, Usher of the Fallen could still see play in the right aggressive deck looking to go wide and apply pressure early in the game.
