Spire Golem would be a great addition to a deck that focuses on controlling the board with Islands, such as a Mono-Blue Control deck in Magic: The Gathering. Its Affinity ability allows it to be cast for a reduced cost based on the number of Islands you control, making it a potentially powerful and cost-effective threat in the late game. However, in more aggressive decks that don't prioritize Islands, there may be better options available that offer more immediate impact on the board.
