This card would be beneficial in a deck that focuses on aggressive strategies and aims to attack frequently to trigger its Raid ability. However, there are better cards like Delver of Secrets that provide more consistent card advantage without the need to attack first. Shipwreck Looter may not see much play in competitive decks due to its conditional card draw and discard effect.

Raid abilities care only that you attacked with a creature. It doesn’t matter how many creatures you attacked with, or which opponent or planeswalker controlled by an opponent those creatures attacked.
