About Pentad Prism
Pentad Prism, Artifact, designed by David Martin first released in Jun, 2004 in the set Fifth Dawn and was printed exactly in 5 different ways. It see play in 1 formats: Commander. It's a key card in 1 combos.
Pentad Prism would be beneficial in a multicolor deck that requires flexibility in mana production, as it can provide any color of mana when needed. However, there are potentially better options such as Mana Prism or Chromatic Lantern that offer more consistent and reliable mana fixing. Pentad Prism could still see play in certain decks that prioritize early mana ramp and color fixing, but its effectiveness may vary depending on the overall strategy and synergy within the deck.

Sunburst checks what mana was actually spent to cast the spell. If an effect allows you to spend mana “as though it were mana” of any color or type, that allows you to spend mana you couldn’t otherwise spend, but it doesn’t change what mana you spent to cast the spell.
