About Orcish Squatters
Orcish Squatters, Creature — orc, designed by Richard Kane Ferguson first released in Jun, 1995 in the set Ice Age and was printed exactly in 3 different ways.
A deck that focuses on aggressive strategies and disrupting the opponent's mana base would benefit from Orcish Squatters, as it can help to slow down the opponent's game plan by stealing their lands. However, there are more efficient cards like Stone Rain or Blood Moon that can achieve similar effects without the need for attacking. Overall, Orcish Squatters may not see much play in competitive decks due to its high cost and conditional effect.
Rules
04/15/13
An ability that triggers when something “attacks and isn’t blocked” triggers in the declare blockers step after blockers are declared if (1) that creature is attacking and (2) no creatures are declared to block it. It will trigger even if that creature was put onto the battlefield attacking rather than having been declared as an attacker in the declare attackers step.
10/04/04
The ability triggers on the declaration of blockers if no blockers are declared for it.
