About Offspring's Revenge

Offspring's Revenge, Enchantment, designed by Daarken first released in Apr, 2020 in the set Ikoria: Lair of Behemoths and was printed exactly in 7 different ways.

This card, Offspring's Revenge, would be a great fit for a graveyard-focused deck that aims to recur powerful red, white, or black creatures. It could work well in a Mardu (Red/White/Black) midrange or control deck that utilizes creatures with impactful enter-the-battlefield abilities or powerful effects upon attacking. While there may be more efficient cards for graveyard recursion, Offspring's Revenge's unique ability to create haste tokens of creatures in those colors could provide a surprise factor and potentially swing the game in your favor. It could see play in certain deck archetypes that can take advantage of its abilities effectively.

Rules

04/17/20

If the card copied by the token had any “when [this permanent] enters the battlefield” abilities, then the token also has those abilities and will trigger them when it’s created. Similarly, any “as [this permanent] enters the battlefield” or “[this permanent] enters the battlefield with” abilities that the token has copied will also work.

04/17/20

The token copies exactly what was printed on the original card and nothing else, except the characteristics it specifically modifies. It doesn’t copy any information about the object the card was before it was put into your graveyard.
