About No Escape
No Escape, Instant, designed by G-host Lee first released in Mar, 2019 in the set War of the Spark and was printed exactly in 2 different ways.
A control deck in a blue-based control strategy would benefit from including No Escape in its deck, as it provides a versatile and efficient way to counter creature or planeswalker spells while also providing a scry 1 effect. However, there are arguably better options available, such as Mana Leak or Counterspell, which offer more flexibility and reliability in countering spells. Whether No Escape should see play would depend on the specific strategy and card pool of the deck, but it may be a situational inclusion in certain metagames.

A creature or planeswalker spell that can’t be countered is a legal target for No Escape. The spell won’t be countered when No Escape resolves, but you’ll still scry 1.
