Cemetery Recruitment would benefit a Zombie tribal deck in Magic: the Gathering, as it provides graveyard recursion and card draw specifically for Zombie creatures. While it is a decent card for such a deck, there are better options like Zombie Master or Gravecrawler that offer more powerful effects. Cemetery Recruitment could see play as a budget option or as a supplemental card in a Zombie-themed deck, but may not be a top choice in more competitive environments.

If you target a Zombie card in your graveyard, drawing a card is an additional bonus. It doesn’t replace returning the Zombie card to your hand.
