The Walls of Ba Sing Se would be a great addition to a control deck with a focus on protecting key permanents. Its ability to grant indestructible to other permanents can provide excellent protection against removal spells. However, for a more competitive deck, cards such as Teferi, Time Raveler or Teferi, Hero of Dominaria might offer more versatile and impactful abilities. The Walls of Ba Sing Se could see play in casual or budget decks looking to create a resilient board state.
