Root Elemental, Creature — elemental, designed by Anthony S. Waters first released in May, 2003 in the set Scourge and was printed exactly in 2 different ways.
This card would be beneficial in a deck focused on cheating big creatures into play quickly, such as a ramp or reanimator deck. While Root Elemental's ability to put a creature card from your hand onto the battlefield is powerful, there are better options available like Elvish Piper or Natural Order which provide similar effects more efficiently. Overall, Root Elemental could see play in casual or budget decks, but may not be a top choice for competitive play due to its high mana cost and slower activation.
