Quick-Draw Katana would be beneficial in an aggressive red or white deck focused on combat damage and winning quickly. While it provides a nice boost to a creature's power and grants first strike, there are potentially better equipment cards like Sword of Fire and Ice or Sword of Feast and Famine that offer additional abilities and value.
