Leonin Lightscribe would be a great addition to a white-based aggressive deck that focuses on casting multiple instant and sorcery spells to pump up its creatures and go for a quick win. While there may be other cards that offer similar effects, such as Monastery Mentor or Young Pyromancer, Leonin Lightscribe's low mana cost and potential for explosive turns make it a strong contender for inclusion in decks looking to overwhelm opponents with a flurry of spells and boosted creatures. It should definitely see play in decks that can take advantage of its ability to buff the team and close out games swiftly.

Each magecraft ability has a different effect, although they all have the same trigger condition, whenever you cast or copy an instant or sorcery spell.

If an effect creates a copy of an instant or sorcery spell, this will also cause the magecraft ability to trigger.

Some effects instruct you to copy an instant or sorcery card in a zone other than the stack. These copies do not cause magecraft abilities to trigger. However, most effects that do this also allow you to cast the copy, and casting the copy will cause magecraft abilities to trigger.
