About Hunt Down
Hunt Down, Sorcery, designed by Christopher Moeller first released in Oct, 2007 in the set Lorwyn.
A deck that focuses on aggressive strategies and wants to force unfavorable blocks from the opponent's creatures would benefit from using Hunt Down. However, there are better cards like Prey Upon, which allows you to have more control over which creatures fight. Hunt Down may not see much play in competitive decks due to its limitations compared to other similar cards.
Rules
10/01/07
If the first creature targeted by Hunt Down can’t block the second targeted creature (for example, because the second creature has flying and the first doesn’t, or because both creatures are controlled by the same player), the ability does nothing and the first creature is free to block whichever creature its controller chooses, or block no creatures at all.
