About Foul Imp
Foul Imp, Creature — imp, designed by Jim Nelson first released in Mar, 1998 in the set Stronghold and was printed exactly in 7 different ways.
A deck that focuses on sacrificing creatures for value, such as a black sacrifice deck, would benefit from using Foul Imp in Magic: the Gathering. However, there are better cards like \[\[Ravenous Chupacabra\]\] that provide a similar effect without the life loss drawback, making Foul Imp less desirable for competitive play unless there is a specific synergy or theme that requires its inclusion.

You can cast this if you have less than 2 life, since the life is lost as an effect and not a payment.
