This card could be beneficial in a deck that focuses on graveyard recursion and card advantage, such as a black-based control or reanimator deck. However, there are better options like Rise from the Grave which directly puts a creature onto the battlefield instead of just on top of the library. While Forever Young may have niche uses, it may not see much play in competitive decks due to more efficient alternatives available.

If you choose any target creature cards and they are all illegal targets by the time Forever Young tries to resolve, the spell won’t resolve. You won’t draw a card.
