Feral Shadow, Creature — nightstalker, designed by Cliff Nielsen first released in Oct, 1996 in the set Mirage and was printed exactly in 7 different ways.
A deck that focuses on a black-based aggressive strategy, such as a mono-black aggro or a black-red vampire deck, would benefit from including Feral Shadow. Its flying ability makes it a strong evasive threat that can quickly close out games. However, there are better options available, such as Vampire Nighthawk, which offers additional lifelink and deathtouch for the same mana cost. While Feral Shadow may not be a top-tier card, it could still see play in budget or casual decks looking for a flying threat.
