About Ember Gale
Ember Gale, Sorcery, designed by Steve Prescott first released in May, 2020 in the set Shadowmoor.
Ember Gale would be beneficial in a red aggressive deck looking to push through damage quickly by preventing blockers and dealing additional damage to white and blue creatures. However, there are potentially better options such as Pyroclasm or Anger of the Gods which can provide more impactful board control. Ember Gale may not see much play in competitive decks due to its limited scope and situational effectiveness compared to other available options.

Ember Gale will deal damage only to white and/or blue creatures the targeted player controls at the time it resolves. However, it will prevent all creatures that player controls from blocking that turn, even if those creatures enter the battlefield later.
