Ebony Charm would be beneficial in a black control deck that focuses on disrupting the opponent's strategy while gaining incremental advantage. However, there are better options available such as Funeral Charm or Dark Ritual, which offer more versatile and impactful effects in a competitive setting. Ebony Charm may have niche uses in specific metagames but overall, it may not see much play in highly optimized decks.
