About Cast Out
Cast Out, Enchantment, designed by Magali Villeneuve first released in May, 2020 in the set Amonkhet and was printed exactly in 11 different ways.
A control or midrange deck in Magic: the Gathering would benefit from using Cast Out as it provides flexible removal for problematic nonland permanents. While there are other removal options available, Cast Out's versatility with its flash ability and cycling make it a strong choice in certain metagames, especially against decks with key nonland permanents that need to be dealt with efficiently. Overall, Cast Out is a solid card that can see play in the right deck archetype.
Rules
04/18/17
If a token is exiled this way, it will cease to exist and won’t return to the battlefield.
04/18/17
If Cast Out leaves the battlefield before its triggered ability resolves, the target permanent won’t be exiled.
04/18/17
In a multiplayer game, if Cast Out’s owner leaves the game, the exiled card will return to the battlefield. Because the one-shot effect that returns the card isn’t an ability that goes on the stack, it won’t cease to exist along with the leaving player’s spells and abilities on the stack.
