Bred for the Hunt, Enchantment, designed by Karl Kopinski first released in May, 2013 in the set Dragon's Maze and was printed exactly in 7 different ways.
This card would be beneficial in a deck that focuses on +1/+1 counters and combat damage triggers, such as a Simic (Green/Blue) deck with a focus on creature aggression and card draw. While Bred for the Hunt offers a nice card draw engine, there are potentially better options like Hardened Scales for additional counter generation or Rhystic Study for more consistent card draw. Whether Bred for the Hunt should see play would depend on the specific strategy and synergy within the deck, but it could be a valuable inclusion for certain builds.

A creature that deals combat damage to a player must have a +1/+1 counter on it at the time damage is dealt in order for Bred for the Hunt’s ability to trigger.
