About Yore-Tiller Nephilim

Yore-Tiller Nephilim, Creature — nephilim, designed by Jeremy Jarvis first released in Feb, 2006 in the set Guildpact and was printed exactly in 4 different ways. It's a key card in 2 combos.

A deck that focuses on graveyard recursion and aggressive strategies would benefit from using Yore-Tiller Nephilim, as it allows for repeated attacks with powerful creatures from the graveyard. While there may be more efficient cards for graveyard recursion in some cases, Yore-Tiller Nephilim's unique ability to bring back creatures tapped and attacking can be a strong tempo play in the right deck. Whether or not it should see play would depend on the specific strategy and synergy of the deck it's included in.

Rules

02/01/06

In a multiplayer game in which you’re allowed to attack only one player each combat, the new creature will be attacking the same player as Yore-Tiller Nephilim. In a multiplayer game in which you may attack multiple players, you choose the player the new creature is attacking. It must be a player you’re allowed to attack.

02/01/06

The creature you put onto the battlefield from your graveyard is attacking, even if the attack couldn’t legally be declared (for example, if that creature has defender or an effect says that no more than one creature can attack).
