About Violent Ultimatum
Violent Ultimatum, Sorcery, designed by Raymond Swanland first released in Oct, 2008 in the set Shards of Alara and was printed exactly in 3 different ways.
This card, Violent Ultimatum, would fit well in a control deck that aims to disrupt the opponent's board state and remove key threats. While it is a powerful effect, the high mana cost may limit its playability in faster formats. In comparison, cards like Damnation or Decree of Pain offer similar board wipe effects at a lower cost, making them more efficient options for most decks.
