Soul Feast, Sorcery, designed by Ray Lago first released in Jun, 1999 in the set Urza's Destiny and was printed exactly in 10 different ways.
A deck that focuses on draining the opponent's life total and gaining life itself would benefit from including Soul Feast. Decks that revolve around lifegain strategies or control archetypes could find this card useful to maintain their life total while chipping away at the opponent's health. However, there are more efficient cards like \\Gray Merchant of Asphodel\\ that provide a similar effect with additional benefits, making Soul Feast less optimal for competitive play but still viable in casual or themed decks.
