Preacher, Creature — human cleric, designed by Quinton Hoover first released in Aug, 1994 in the set The Dark and was printed exactly in 3 different ways. It see play in 1 formats: Commander.
This card, Preacher, could be beneficial in a control deck that focuses on manipulating and disrupting your opponent's board state. While it can be a powerful tool for taking control of your opponent's creatures, there are more efficient and versatile options available in Magic: the Gathering. Cards like Control Magic or Treachery offer similar effects without the restriction of having to keep Preacher tapped. However, for a thematic or casual deck, Preacher could still see play for its unique and flavorful ability.

When you activate the ability, you choose an opponent, then that opponent chooses the target.
10/04/04
The target of the ability is a creature the chosen opponent controls. As the ability resolves, if the target isn’t a creature controlled by the chosen opponent, the ability won’t resolve. If the ability’s target is changed somehow, the new target must be a creature controlled by the chosen opponent.
