About Pia's Revolution

Pia's Revolution, Enchantment, designed by Clint Cearley first released in Jan, 2017 in the set Aether Revolt Promos and was printed exactly in 2 different ways.

A deck that focuses on sacrificing artifacts or has a lot of artifacts that can be easily recurred would benefit from using Pia's Revolution, as it provides a way to continuously bring back important artifacts or deal damage to opponents. While Pia's Revolution can be a useful card in certain artifact-focused decks, there are potentially better options available, such as Goblin Welder or Scrap Trawler, which offer more versatile and powerful effects for artifact recursion. Ultimately, whether Pia's Revolution sees play would depend on the specific strategy and synergies of the deck it is included in.

Rules

01/19/18

There are many important moments in the story, but the most crucial—called “story spotlights”—are shown on cards. These cards have the Planeswalker symbol in their text box; this symbol has no effect on gameplay. You can read more about these events in the official Magic fiction at http://www.mtgstory.com.

02/09/17

If a nontoken artifact is put into your graveyard at the same time as Pia’s Revolution, Pia’s Revolution’s ability triggers.

02/09/17

The target opponent chooses whether to have Pia’s Revolution deal 3 damage to them as its ability resolves. You won’t return the card to your hand if that player chooses to be dealt damage or if the card leaves the graveyard before the ability resolves.
