About Might Makes Right

Might Makes Right, Enchantment, designed by Mark Winters first released in Jul, 2014 in the set Magic 2015.

A deck focused on aggressive strategies and large creatures, such as a Red/Green ramp deck or a Red aggro deck, would benefit from using Might Makes Right in Magic: the Gathering. However, there are better cards with similar effects, such as Zealous Conscripts or Act of Aggression, which provide immediate and more versatile creature control options. While Might Makes Right has a unique effect, its high mana cost and conditional activation may limit its playability in competitive decks.

Rules

07/18/14

“Each creature on the battlefield with the greatest power” may be a single creature if each other creature has less power.

07/18/14

Gaining control of a creature doesn’t cause you to gain control of any Auras or Equipment attached to it.

07/18/14

The ability will check its condition again as it tries to resolve. If, at that time, another player controls a creature with the greatest power or tied for the greatest power, the ability won’t do anything.
