Keeper of the Light, Creature — human wizard, designed by D. Alexander Gregory first released in Jun, 1998 in the set Exodus.
A white control or lifegain deck would benefit from using Keeper of the Light in Magic: the Gathering. However, there are better cards for lifegain strategies such as Soul Warden or Soul's Attendant, which provide consistent lifegain without the condition of targeting an opponent with more life. Keeper of the Light may not see play in competitive decks due to its situational nature and the availability of more efficient lifegain options.
