About Grafted Skullcap
Grafted Skullcap, Artifact, designed by Brian Despain first released in May, 2020 in the set Urza's Saga and was printed exactly in 3 different ways.
A deck that focuses on drawing cards quickly and efficiently, such as a blue control deck or a combo deck, would benefit from using Grafted Skullcap. However, the drawback of having to discard your hand at the end of each turn can be quite significant, potentially limiting the card advantage gained. There are better options available, such as Jace, the Mind Sculptor, which provides card advantage without the downside of discarding your hand. Overall, Grafted Skullcap may not see much play in competitive decks due to its drawback compared to more powerful alternatives.
